BROWN SCHOOL WEBSITE
One year ago, Brown School launched a new website. Parent Council would like to take this opportunity to encourage you, the parents and guardians of the Brown community, to explore the many functions available. Below you will find a brief description and links to the most popular and regularly updated features on our website.
The Home Page contains up-to-date News items, a summary of upcoming events, links to all School Bulletins, and tweets from the TDSB. We have also just recently added a countdown timer to this year's Garden Fete!
The Events Calendar contains all upcoming concerts, PD Days, pizza lunches, holidays, Parent Council Meetings (next one is March 26th at 9:00 am), etc.
The Athletics Calendar contains ALL upcoming try-outs, practices, games, and tournaments.
The About Brown tab takes you to FAQs, commonly used downloadable forms, lunch and recess times, and information on Unicorn Day Care.
Parent Council recently updated the list of (desperately!) needed volunteer positions; there are PDFs available for download to register for After School and Lunch club activities; as well as contact information for all our volunteer council members.
Under Events & News, you will find the TDSB 5-day cycle calendar, our school trustee's weekly reports and regularly updated information on the Fall Fling, Garden Fete and QSP Magazine pages.
Classes takes you to specific information on Brown School’s facilities and curriculum; information on Swim, Phys Ed, Music and Library; as well as a list of all the staff and classroom numbers.
The site is fully responsive and will function properly on all electronic devices, including your smartphone. The calendars can be viewed by Day, Week, Month, or as a list; they can also be downloaded as iCal.
