Q-MACK AND J-BOX
What do Basketball, Beat Boxing and Anti-Bullying have in common? Q-Mack and J-Box!
On Monday, February 29th, Q-Mack, a Nike Pro basketball freestyler-turned-motivational speaker, and his sidekick, J-Box, Canada's top beat boxer, visited our school on their "INCREASE THE PEACE TOUR"!
Through storytelling (their own personal experiences), amazing basketball tricks, and cool beat-boxing rhythms and songs, this dynamic duo wowed the crowd while bringing to light many important messages about various forms of bullying (physical, verbal and cyber-bullying), and how bullying can make us feel.
Q-Mack encouraged us to "INCREASE THE PEACE" by standing up for each other and being team players! He also stressed the importance of always doing our best, never giving up, and having the courage to chase our dreams!
