World Changers update

Our February "We Are Love" campaign in support of children in India was a great success. We completely sold out of our button-grams and raised a total of $1,635 in just 5 days. Way to go Brown School!

From Feb 28th to March 8th, World Changers will be involved in another Free the Children campaign, "We Stand Together".  This is not a fundraiser. It is simply to raise awareness about the challenges faced by Canada’s Aboriginal Peoples and at the same time, to celebrate their rich history, culture and traditions. By participating in the "We Stand Together" campaign, students will take part in developing an understanding for these issues, and raising awareness of their successes.

On Wednesday, March 6th at 1 p.m., three native speakers will be coming in to talk to Michele Breslin's class and the Grade 4-6 World Changers about their culture and traditions.

If you have any questions about these or other World Changers' initiatives, please contact Allison Fortier <allisonfortier@rogers.com> and Laura Finch <laura.finch@me.com>.
