THE PANTHER PRESS
We are looking to try a new way of communicating with you - The Brown P.S. Community! Our goal is to send out weekly e-mail blasts with timely information about the happenings at Brown. We all know how busy Brown is and we all know how much we have to celebrate here too.
If you are involved in school council and/or on a committee and you would like to share something about an event at the school - please send your submission to me (jessica.feldberg@tdsb.on.ca) no later than 4pm on Wednesdays. It should be no more than 100 words. There will be big events throughout the year that will need more attention and we will work through that as it happens.
We will get all our information together and out by Friday (with the help of some amazing parent volunteers, of course!). Be in touch!
WELCOME BACK PACKAGE
This week a package of forms went home with your child, as did a form for the Lunch Mom Program. Please ensure that all forms are filled out and back to the office no later than Monday. There is a lot of important information that we collect from those forms and to get things off the ground and running it is most helpful to have all that information.

ATTENDANCE SYSTEM
Please remember if your child is going to be absent - we ask that you call into our system and let us know. It is important that you inform us of each day your child will be away. The number is 416-393-1557.
DROP OFF / PICK UP
REMINDER: There is NO DROP-OFF/PICK-UP/PARKING on the NORTH DRIVEWAY
The north driveway (between Brown P.S. and Avenue Road Art School) is a service and delivery entrance only, and is limited to TDSB vehicles and buses. For the safety of all of our students, CHILDREN are NOT PERMITTED on the north driveway. We would also ask that parents do not exit the building with your child(ren) using the centre stairwell doors - again, this is to ensure the children's safety in this laneway. Thank you!
AN AMAZING WEEK
What an amazing week it has been! The welcome from all the students, staff and families has been incredible. On behalf of all of us at Brown - thank you for allowing us to work and learn with your children every day. What an amazing group of people. :)
