Primary Swim Team

On Friday, December 2^nd, we hosted the first of the season’s "kick off" Swim meet with our sister school, Hillcrest. The following week, on December 8^th, our Primary team travelled to Hillcrest pool for a fun-filled re-match!

As Coaches, we are delighted and proud of our Primary members. We feel each student has enjoyed a positive experience of being part of a Swim team. Overall, our primary members have gained the benefits of regular swimming with improved strokes, skills, endurance, speed and improved fitness levels!

We enjoyed working with your children. Thank you!

Primary Swim Team - Congratulations to All!

Our first swim practice was held on Tuesday November 1st. It was well attended, everyone worked hard and enjoyed a splashing good time!

Please check your child/children's swim bag for a copy of your Primary Swim Team Information package plus an additional insert on Team shirts and bathing caps.

Primary Swim Team

*Sign Up Sheets are available in the aquatic office*

Days: Tuesday and Thursday (Start date TBA)
Grades: 2 & 3
Requirements: Students must be comfortable in deep water and be able to swim one length.

Please Note:
During the month of October, primary swim classes we will be taught in a swim team format. Our focus will be on endurance, improving strokes, to build a understanding of individual racing, relays...lots of fun ahead!

*Swim team try outs will also be held during your child's class.

Noon Swim

Our noon swim program will begin the week of Monday September 12th. This program is available to our Students from Grades 1-6.

Days - Monday and Wednesday

Times - 12:00 - 12:40 pm

Grades- 1-6

All you need to remember is your swim suit, towel and bathing cap. Come out and enjoy the fun!

Primary Swim Team

The Primary Swim team will be announced to all Grade 2 and 3 classes in early October.
