Do you have 20 minutes twice a month to help our children get to school safely? Please contact Mary Ann Stewart about volunteering for our essential Kiss & Ride program. Now's the time to volunteer - Spring has sprung so you won't be standing in the snow!
AVENUE ROAD DROP-OFF
There is NO safe drop-off zone on Avenue Road.
1. Stopping on Avenue Road to let a child out of the car is extremely unsafe.
2. The North Driveway of the school is NOT ACCESSIBLE to parents. This area needs to be reserved for AUTHORIZED users only.
Please think twice before using either of these areas to drop off your children. WE HAVE CONTACTED POLICE SERVICES TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE AND THEY WILL BE MONITORING THE DRIVEWAY AND AVENUE ROAD.

Founder of MindSana.com
Felicity has worked in mindfulness for over 6 years with both adults and youth and has extensive experience running groups. She has completed the Applied Mindfulness Program at the University of Toronto and attended Vipassana silent retreats. Her experience includes running Mindfulness Meditation Programs in Corporate, Community, Social Agency and Volunteer settings. Felicity has experienced the transformative benefits of fostering her own mindfulness practice. It is her desire to bring these benefits to others that led her to establish MindSana.com.
In Felicity's presentation she will:
Define mindfulness
Discuss the benefits and how they apply to parenting
Outline the science behind the practice
Run two short meditations
Offer mindfulness tips in everyday life
Provide a list of resources
Participants will receive a handout.
Register by April 26th for childcare
Free childcare for children 2.5 to 10 years of age will be provided onsite by Unicorn day care. Please register in person at the Child Care Office.

CHOIR
Please note that on Saturday, April 16, at 8:00 pm the Junior Choir performs at St. Martin-in-the-Fields with the Healey Willan Singers. The dress rehearsal is on Friday, April 15th.
The TDSB Music Festival for Junior Choir members is on Tuesday, May 17 at 12:30 pm.
