Lunch Swim
Days: Monday - Thursday
Times: 11:55 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.
Grade level: 1 - 6
We welcome our students to join in on the fun during their lunch time. Remember to pack the night before: bathing suit, towel, bathing cap (goggles are optional).
Please note: We recommend that students do NOT participate in the Lunch Swim program on the same day as your scheduled afternoon Aquatic class.

SPORTBALL
Sportball will resume on Thursdays, starting January 17th at 3:35 p.m.
It is open to 15 students in Grades 3/4 and 15 students in Grades 5/6. This term will be basketball and indoor soccer.
If your child is interested, they must sign up at the office and fill out a permission form.

BROWN COMMUNITY HOCKEY TEAM
A young Brown Community Hockey Team carried on the long tradition of participating in the 12th Annual Boyd Caldwell Invitational Hockey Tournament at UCC this past Friday and Saturday. After a slow start with a 3-1 loss to LCC, veteran grade 6 players stepped up their game in an epic battle with the very strong UCC6 team. While they lost 5-2, Brown made their mark being the first team to score in tournament or regular season play so far this year.
They carried that momentum into the 3rd and final game of the round robin with a 7-5 win over Crestwood. Saturday morning came a bit too early for the Brown team which never really got their mojo going losing 6-1 to John Wanless. But in true Brown spirit, the troops rallied in their 2nd match up of the day to defeat Armour Heights 6-1. Unfortunately it was not quite enough to make it through to the Silver Final. The future looks bright for this team who showed a huge amount of heart and character.
