World Changers update
In February the World Changers are supporting Free The Children's We Are Love campaign. From Feb. 11-14, button-grams will be available for $2 each on a first come first served basis. They will be sold at the beginning of lunch hour in front of the office and all funds raised will go to support FTC's Adopt A Village initiatives in India (as voted on by the World Changers in December.) This includes education, healthcare, housing, agriculture and access to clean water. (Pre-orders were made available to those Grade 5&6 students attending the Island School Feb. 11-13).
The last week of February and first week of March World Changers will shift focus to We Stand Together - an awareness campaign about aboriginal issues.
