BOYS SLO-PITCH
Our quest for the Junior Boys Slo-Pitch Championship began in September with a group of very dedicated and committed student athletes. We began our journey with a victory in our tournament and then proceeded to a come from behind victory in the South Region semi-finals. In the South Region finals, we once again proved we were the better team and advanced to the Conference Finals.
On October 28th our team won the South Region with a very close game against Allenby, after being down early. We won the city championship with a decisive 12-2 victory over John G. Althouse! Once again in a come from behind victory. Congratulations to the entire team. All along the way we learned a lot about ourselves as teammates and individuals. Our hard work was well worth the effort!
Thank you to all of the parents who tirelessly supported us by chauffeuring athletes, providing snacks, laundering shirts, and faithfully cheering us on. Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to the team.
